I would just like to say thank you for making an incredible product! I purchased your 36 MH laker rod and WOW! I fished on Saturday 24th up at my favorite lake and landed my largest ever trout! A 31 3/4 inch Rainbow/Cutthroat Hybrid! For those of you who don't know the strength of these hybrids I would stack it up against any freshwater fish. Reel singing hard electric fast runs and the rod played it like a dream. This fish was one of the largest fish landed all year up there and it was through the ice! I have ice fished my whole life and have never seen a product perform so well. Thank you again for an awesome product!

So last winter I was on a killer sunfish bite late ice. I decided to go look for those "bulls" again and got into some nice fish. I was not a big sunnie guy, but they sure are good eating, and fun to catch. Tonight I went out to a sunnie haunt from last year, and got into the biggest sunfish I've ever seen. Right at 11.5" for a damn sunfish! It had to go 2lbs. My camera-gal didn't do the fish justice but it was a HOG! Problem is the bite starts for those sunfish after dark, which is strange. The "Meat Stick" allowed me to have the sensitive tip to be fishing little jigs tipped with waxies. At the slightest movement I could set the hook, and the rod had the backbone to get great hook sets even on pigs like this one! Ended up with a great night on the ice!

I normally set up tip ups for pike and jig for perch to pass the time. Today with my new spring bobber rod I was having so much jigging with that rod, I couldn't careless about flags. I felt EVERY little nudge and hit as if the rod were on an amplifier. I never felt this with my other rods (Name of a Virgin Island) The rod really felt like an extension of my wrist. I also love the larger eyes on the rod. NO FREEZE ups today.

I have to give a shout out to Jason Mitchell for making a fantastic ice fishing rod. On our recent ice fishing adventure Pete was able to land a 18pd lake trout on a 24" Jason Mitchell Panfish rod. The reel was spooled with 4 pound test. He was using the light rod to fish for Cisco's when the fish hit. The rod did a great job, and so did Pete. At any time he could have broke this giant fish off, but with his patience and the strength of the rod it held up to a 30 minute battle. Here is a picture of Pete and his great fish.

Thank you very much! As soon as I got home from work, I pulled my new Jason Mitchells out and cut the tape off my Tica Cetus Reels from my St. Croix Premier rods and put them on my new rods. I headed directly to our Wed. Night Crappie League and used them with great success! I ended up with over 35 Calicos, all C&R! The lack of the spring bobber caused me to lift/roll a few fish due to the fact that they were BARELY touching the bait. The 28 inch rod was fantastic with it's super sensitive tip! I can't wait to use it on some of those light biting Perch! Again, Thank You and I am very impressed with your product and will
spread the word and you should start getting more rods shipped to Central NY!
